Who and what?

BDSM-Index Was founded in the early months of 2009 with the goal of informing all people about BDSM. Us at BDSM-Index think information isn't just for the people in the scene, but also for the people who unexpectedly come into contact with it, like partners or friends of BDSM-participants. On our site we hope to show just those poeple that BDSM is just a normal thing, and than way we want to try and break the barrier forced around BDSM. On the website there are several different subjects explained in detail, like Daddydom and Candle play. Also there are a number of stories on our websute that give a look into the personal beliefs of a BDSM-relationship.

Interaction

Half a year ago we opened a forum trying to get more user interaction with the readers of the website. Unfortunately the Engllish forum didn't quite work out the way we wanted it to be. There were more spammers than there we're posters so we have decided to put a (temporary) stop to our english message board. We will try again sometime later!

What's New

The regular visitors of BDSM-Index must have seen what's new concerning out website. The entire look has changed and the general picture is a lot more conveniently arranged. Previous our website did run on a (handwritten) scriptnetwork which worked fairly wel. Unfortunately the problem with the old system was change. Even the slightest of changes took a lot of effort and time cause of scripts working against eachother. That's why the decision was made to change to a new system, Joomla. The new system is a proffesional package that is completely customizable according to one's wishes. The new style however is (again) handwritten to try and implement the old BDSM-Index "look" back into the new system. With the new system we expect to handle user-needs better and faster than before. BDSM-Index is very happy about it's new look, and we hope you like it too!
